Week 1: Finding Your Inspiration: character sketches, how to choose your setting, and fresh perspectives.
Week 2: The Geometry of Fiction & the Importance of Journey: how to plot your story and develop emotional arcs.
Week 3: POV & Archetypes: who tells your story, and why it matters.
Week 4: Writing from the Senses: using sensory detail and memory to make scenes immersive.
Week 5: How to Edit Your Own Work: revision techniques, peer feedback, and structural tools.
Week 6: Final Writing Session & Path to Publication: polish your piece, explore publishing options, and celebrate your progress.
Hayley-Jenifer Brennan is a fiction writer, editor, and ESL teacher from Cork. She is published in long-form fiction (novel), as well as short stories, micro-fiction, and poetry. Through this course, she hopes to help you unlock your imagination and spark inspiration for your next piece.
